11-02 and 11-05 notes and Homework

* Quick Note: Dear Parents... I am currently NOT taking online quizes for make up work to replace grades and this is why. Students have not been doing their homework knowing they can take ANY online quiz and replace that homework grade. HOMEWORK is to PRACTICE and REINFORCE a skill! In college professors say that Students must study for 2 hours for each hour of class they take. I am only asking for a short amount of time to be spent on homework and it is IMPORTANT! Most homework never goes above 20 problems and students have 2 nights in which to do them in! Their Math Class needs to come first because if they do NOT Score a Proficient on EOC they will have remediation work they will have to do next year. If they fail the EOC Then they will have to take it again come next Fall and will have to take an extra EOC prep Course during the day. GRADUATION is on the line! Please start asking your child to show you their homework and notes! I adore these students and I am making phone calls home but I am worried that some are getting lazy and behind! My goal is for every student to be successful and the best they can be!
