Make sure to multiply the outside number times all the inside numbers!
EXAMPLE:
(2x+4) 2
2(2x) + 2(4)
4x + 8 This is as far as you can go because you can not add 4x and 8 together because they are not like terms.

Welcome to Algebra 1
Dear Students and Parents,
I am looking forward to this year with such wonderful students in my class! This website is designed to give students extra materials to help them study for tests and let you know what we have covered and what is coming next! Please feel free to email me any questions you may have!
Sincerely,
Lorraine Gordon
