Multiplying Monomials

Distributive Property

Make sure to multiply the outside number times all the inside numbers!

EXAMPLE:

(2x+4) 2
2(2x) + 2(4)
4x + 8  This is as far as you can go because you can not add 4x and 8 together because they are not like terms.
